Kickin It Kentucky River Flood Relief

On March 1st 2021, the Kentucky River rose to an all time record high, flooding and devastating our local communities. Some people got out with only the clothes on their back. Homes, businesses, personal belongings, livestock, a lot of people lost everything they had. This is to help raise money to all those victims impacted by this flood. We will be raising money for Estill, Lee, and Owsley county, with 100% of the proceeds going to the people that need it. For Estill County, we will be using the same structure we did on the 2017 storm benefit in working with Helping Hands Outreach non-profit. We will be working with a non-profit in all three counties. Each non-profit has a board who through damage assessments and an application process will make sure that this money goes to who needs it most. In Lee County we are working with Kiwanis, and in Owsley County we will be coordinating with Friends Of the Owsley County Public Library.  Feel free to add the county you would want the money to go to in the name on your donation. All donations not specified will be divided equally amongst all three counties. This money will go to those most severely impacted by the flood for housing, transportation, etc. We appreciate everyone that can help these communities with this tragic event. It means a lot
