Not long ago, my brother-in-law Steve was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a rare, aggressive form of cancer that attacks the immune system.
To treat it, he and his wife Kim are spending two weeks each month in Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit to receive chemotherapy, plus additional visits for outpatient procedures. The chemotherapy regimen is very intense but will hopefully lead to a full recovery.
We’re raising money to help Kim and Steve pay for their travel expenses, they also have to pay for hotel rooms, dog boarding, and gas each time they travel 2 hours between Midland and Detroit for a hospital stay.
The next 6 months will be very difficult for them. Steve owns a business in Midland but can’t work very much while he receives treatment, so we want to help Steve focus on getting healthy.
All donations are welcome, and no amount is too small to overcome this difficult time. Steve and Kim appreciate your support, and they welcome your positive thoughts and prayers.
