KICK HARRIET'S CANCER

Donation protected
I have loved Harriet since before she was born. While living on Kodiak Island, I became great friends with my (at that time) favorite dog ever Billy Pig Belly, who is Harry's mama. While Billy girl was pregnant, I was hanging out with her in the forest and the mountains and at the ocean just about every day and was with the pups the day they were born. At first sight I knew that Harry and I were going to be best friends for a very long time. I have known no greater joy than being Harriet's human for the last three and a half years and being witness to the way that she interacts with the world. She is pure love, pure silliness, pure enthusiasm. The sweetest, kindest, fiercest ball of cuddles. There is no way not to love this sweet, perfect angel of a pup. We have been on epic adventures from our explorations of Kodiak Island and Alaska, to road-trips across the country and all over Canada, to up and down the west coast, to all over California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. The list of things I do without her is very short. When the weather is warm(ish) we go swimming every day, she can run beside me on my bicycle for miles and miles (and regularly does, it's our favorite way to go on walks), we wake up at 6AM and run every day so we can get some energy out before we hit the world with our spirits, we share everything. We've spent countless hours in the back country, hiking for days on end in the snow, rain, sleet, bright sunshine, sweltering heat. We have gone from sleeping under the midnight sun, to under the aurora borealis, in the dust and dirt of the desert wide open under the stars, to cuddled SO TIGHT sharing my sleeping bag in a hole we dug out in a snow bank. Wherever I go, she goes, even in the baths at Bagby Hot Springs. We are together, doing something fun every single day.  She's so much more than a dog, she's my best friend, my baby, my guardian, my reminder that life is good, and that I can keep going tomorrow, because we're going to wake up together and there is more fun to be had. She's what makes my world make sense.... Which is why it has been such a devastating and heart breaking blow to find cancer in her mammary glands. We were lucky to find the mass early, and our hope is that the cancer hasn't spread to any other organs or parts of her body, but my lil pupper is going to have to go under the knife to get her cancer removed, and we'll have to send it out for more advanced tests to see what kind it is exactly and if it's spreading/spreadable. I have been trying to figure out how to deal with this on my own, but as with most things in life, it's going to take a village. If you feel so inclined, I am asking for donations to keep my best friend alive and with us for a long time. If you can't donate, please, please, please share.
