Kick Off this Christmas for Hugo...

This Christmas YORK VIKINGS Walking Football Club will be dedicating our annual Festive Charity event fundraiser to support Hugo Pilkington, as he fights for his young life...

Hugo, at the tender age of just 2, has already undergone 2 procedures to remove his brain tumour but those procedures have ultimately not been successful and now, the poor lamb, is undergoing invasive treatments, including a year of Chemotherapy, in order to give him the best chance moving forwards...

All of this is, of course, an absolutely awful situation and a great strain on his family too and one of his family - is also one of ours in our broader Walking Football Community (and good friend of VIKINGS) - Lloyd 'Lloydy' Buckle, Hugo's Great Grandad is driving efforts to raise funds to help Hugo (and support the family to support Hugo further) in anyway that helps and YORK VIKINGS are delighted to have the opportunity to support this very worthy cause...
