Hey there. Thanks for checking this page out. Unfortunately, I’m devastated to say that on Valentines Day we officially found out that Luna has gastric adenocarcinoma…. Stomach cancer. She is my absolute and entire world, and I’m truly and deeply heartbroken, and honestly can’t imagine my life without her. If you know me, you know how much she means to me and how much she lights up my life every single day. She’s been by my side through four states, countless apartments, roommates, adventures, and every inch of life. I don’t know how to live without her. She’s the most perfectly cooked baked potato, but we got an icky spot on us that we need to cut out asap.

When we finally got around to seeing her oncologist, she informed me that if I chose to not treat her cancer at all I’d only have a month left with her. A month is just not enough time, so we’re scheduled for surgery on February 23rd. The oncologist said that with this surgery she should start to feel much better, which is a relief. The problem with her cancer though is the assumption that it has already spread. I have no idea how much time we have left together, but I’m going to do everything I can to extend it as much as possible, while also making sure she’s still happy and comfortable.
