Kate Schulz is a Shoreview native, daughter of Gregg & Jan Simantz. The love story started when she met a Delano boy, Steven Schulz, son of Carl & Dawn Schulz.
Their life began in the Delano area for a few years and has recently taken them to Fargo, North Dakota. Steven is an Executive Chef, Kate is a Veterinarian and they have been blessed with a handsome 3 year old son, Mathis.
In their short few years together there have been multiple life challenges including the stillbirth of their second son Arthur this past March & the most recent in June, when Kate was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She will not be able to work following doctor’s orders & the nature of her profession during the six months of brutal chemo therapy treatments which begin in July.
We are bringing the fight back to Delano for the support of Family, Friends, and Community.

We're hoping to raise money to help Kate and Steven through these rough times. I don't know a better more supportive community then the one we grew up in and i'm counting on all my family, fiends and community to help in this brutal battle against cancer.
