In the midst of unimaginable hardship, the people of Palestine are fighting for survival, and we have the power to help. West Riding FA, Bradford Council, and International Women’s Day have collaborated and organised the IWD X Ramadan League; a football tournament in Bradford for women. 100% of the funds raised through this event will go directly to providing vital humanitarian relief to those in need in Palestine. This page has been curated for those who would like to make an additional contribution beyond the tournament registration fee and for anyone who would like to show their support and make a donation, even if they are unable to participate in the tournament itself.

This year, the league is raising funds to support the people of Palestine, who are facing an ongoing crisis. After months of devastating conflict, the people of Gaza are now enduring a fragile ceasefire, but the need for aid is more critical than ever. Over 46,000 lives have been lost, and more than 110,000 people are injured. Our dear brothers and sisters are facing unimaginable hardships—homes and hospitals have been destroyed, and schools are in ruins, with widespread hunger the need for critical aid is urgent. Over 96% of Gaza’s population faces severe food insecurity, and the healthcare system has collapsed with most hospitals closed due to damage, insecurity, and lack of fuel. People continue to suffer and are struggling to survive in makeshift shelters, with many vulnerable to diseases due to poor sanitation. The situation is dire, and aid is urgently needed.
