My first brain tumor journey began in 2013. I traveled to Boston, MA and was treated by some of the nation's best surgeons, doctors, and nurses. I had my first craniotomy on July 31, 2013.  Fast forward 5 years, almost to the day... I heard the words I honestly thought I wouldn't hear again, "your brain tumor is back!" To say that I was in shock, is quite an understatement. Now, I'm living near Nashville, TN. This is a great place to be. My neurosurgeon in Boston told me to see an awesome surgeon at Vanderbilt Neurosurgery. Once again... I'm in the best hands. The decision has been made, as of yesterday... I'll be having my 2nd craniotomy! After surgery, I'll be having a combination of radiation/chemo. I'm definitely nervous, but I've put this in God's hands and I'm trusting fully in him.  The medical/medication bills will start to add up. If you are able to donate...awesome.
