Kiara's Summer Internship

Hello, family and friends! My name is Kiara Nelson and I am a rising sophomore at Howard University, pursuing a degree in TV/Film production and electronic studio design. Recently, I received an internship offer in Los Angeles, CA with Blavity--a tech company for forward thinking Black millennials pushing the boundaries of culture and the status quo. Many of you have supported me since I made the decision to attend Howard University last summer and I can't thank you enough. I am now asking for more help.

This internship comes with a stipend, but unfortunately, it isn't enough to cover the entire cost of my housing. I am working with my mother and father to acquire a majority of the funds, but any assistance that I can get helps tremendously.  Whether you choose to donate or simply share this post, your actions will assist me in many ways than none.
