Kiara's top surgery fundraiser

My name is Kiara and I am a Black trans man and a single dad to two beautiful children. I am an artist based in Liverpool. I’m experiencing extreme dysphoria and I know that I need to take the next steps to receive gender affirming care to live as myself for my physical and mental wellbeing.
I want to get top surgery which will make me feel more at home and happy in my body. I also want to have voice training to sound like myself as my current voice adds to the dysphoria that I experience. Some of this fundraiser will also cover travel and aftercare expenses. This won’t be the only step I’m taking but it will be one of the first. I’ve started this fundraiser to help me get there.
I’ve decided to go private because the current wait at an NHS GIC, particularly in Covid times, is longer than ever, and I just can’t wait anymore. I’m asking for donations towards the cost of accessing the gender affirming care I need to live and flourish.
I want to be the best dad that I can be and I know taking this step would help me heal and continue to raise two amazing children.
Anything from a share to a donation will help with my gender dysphoria and ultimately my mental health and happiness.

Due to not reaching my funding before I had to delay my surgery to September 5th 2021. Please help me reach my goal before then. I need your help.
