Hello friends, family, and neighbors!

I am very excited to announce that I'm moving to Los Angeles, California at the end of this month! After 5 years, my time in Ithaca, NY has come to an end. Though it's bittersweet, I can't wait to be back in CA and be close to my family and closest friends.

As I'm sure you can imagine, moving across the country and settling in a new place is no small task and has many costs attached. I am creating this page seeking community support to help offset the costs of moving and getting started in LA. Will you support my next chapter?

Here's a little more about me:

Born and raised in southern CA, I initially moved to Ithaca, NY in 2017 to attend Cornell University. Though my time there was short, the city of Ithaca very quickly felt like home and I decided to stay and become a part of the community. The people of Ithaca have always welcomed me with open arms and I could not be more grateful. During my time here, I've had the joy of being involved in the local acting community, worked in multiple small businesses, and most recently been an administrative staff member at two of Ithaca's non-profit theatre companies. Along with all of the positive experiences, I also went through some of the most difficult periods of my life here and the lessons I learned have shaped me into the person I am today. I look forward to taking all Ithaca has taught me into the next phase of my life. Thank you to everyone who has been there for me during my time here!

Like so many, the pandemic really made me stop to think about what is most important. I realized that though I had started to build a community here in Ithaca, I longed to be closer to my family and close friends back in California. However, with the constant changes that came along with COVID, it just never felt like the "right" time to move.

Yesterday, I decided there's no time like the present. For the first time, I booked a one-way ticket to CA. I'll be moving in with one of my best friends and will be exploring a new career path through Merit America's IT Support Specialist program. I hope to make time for my creative pursuits as well.

I'm still figuring out what happens next, but I know that I'll be surrounded by people I love and be getting plenty of SUN. Bye-bye winter!
