Kiana Marie is a singer/songwriter. She has studied voice with Victoria Mountain, Dept. Chair at MacPhail School of Music, and jazz vocalist Bruce Henry. She is mentored by Kathleen Johnson, an outstanding vocalist and founder of Musicians4Musicians. Since 2009 she has performed and worked with some of the finest talent in the Twin Cities. Award winning producer Shaun LaBelle, Grammy nominated Stokley Williams of Mint Condition, Kirk Johnson, Mario Dawson, Craig Dion, Dan Ristrom, Art Haynes, and Grammy winners, Jamecia Bennett, Daryl Beaudreaux, and Deevo. Working with them and many others have taught her so much about the business, and Kiana now feels it is time to record a solo project.
" When I sing, I want to make people happy, and inspire them with my music. I want it to be relevant and relatable. I love to perform and that's why my mission is to 'Keep Live Music Alive!' My first single, written by Proper T, a great singer/songwriter, is called Lay It Down. It has a powerful message and I'm proud he wrote it for me!
This solo project will be used as a marketing tool to help launch my career and I appreciate if you would be a part of that goal. Thank you so much!"
