Hello my loving family and dear friends. My name is Mai Nou Lor, the 2nd to youngest of my family. Yesterday, my family received some very devastating news that our father, grandpa, great grandpa, Kia Xue Lor has passed away in the late mornings on Sunday, November 29, 2020 unexpectedly because of his declining health and old age.
Two years ago our beloved father was in a hit and run accident that left him with two major bleedings in his brains that really didn't heal completely but become stable enough to come home. After our father was discharged from his month long stay at the hospital, he suffered two strokes and was again hospitalized for another two weeks. He was never the same again. Unfortunately, we never got any justice for our beloved father in his hit and run case and we'll probably never will now since he's gone.
Sadly, after battling dementia and brain injuries for the past two years, his conditions hasn't gotten any better. On top of everything that our father was battling thru, we recently lost our big brother Chong Vue Lor to a house fire on March 22, 2020. Barely over seven short month ago. After the lost of his oldest child, our father's conditions seem to worsen due to his extreme grief and heart break. Our father finally gave up the fight and passed away Sunday morning, November 29, 2020.
Due to covid-19 and regulations on family gatherings, we plan to do a simple yet beautiful funeral for our beloved father. With your donations, we planned and hope to give our beloved father the funeral he would be proud of and deserves during these unprecedented times.
