Hi Everyone, My name is Stephen Smith. friend and colleague of Kia Hays. I am sure many of us are mutual friends of Kia's.

In her short 35 years Kia gave of her life to our community and to many causes, telling stories that needed to be told to help heal our world. Many of you witnessed her do that every day!

She was a wonderful friend, a strong minded woman, an amazing colleague.

We are raising money in her memory, to cover some short term needs including medical bills, a celebration of life gathering, and to bring her friends and admirers together in gratitude.

We want to ensure a champion of humanity who was in her prime and gave so much during her lifetime is honored. We also want to be there for her husband Riccardo at this unexpected time of loss.
