KI Animals need Hay

Kangaroo Island has experienced the worst bush fire disaster ever experienced on the island. Over 50% of the island has been burned. The surviving stock are left with no pastures to feed and huge amounts of the recently the baled hale, burned.
Andrew Keach from Goolwa SA, has worked as a wool broker for the past 23 years. Many of his clients and friends in Kangaroo Island have lost their homes, buildings, livestock and their pastures scorched from the bush fires. Andrew recently travelled to Kangaroo Island to find out where the help was most needed: - It as clear. “We need hay to keep our remaining animals alive”.
The situation is urgent. The fires have devastated pastures and feed reserves. With the ongoing drought's, there is already a huge shortage of hay, so we will be working hard to source the hay and have it delivered to Kangaroo Island.

Donations:
100% of the money raised will be used to purchase hay and delivered to Kangaroo Island.
100% of Hay donations from farmers on the mainland will be delivered to Kangaroo Island.
We have several truck drivers who are donating their time and vehicles to transport the hay to Kangaroo Island to the farmers and families affected by the bush fires.
Plan:
We are working hard to source the hay. As soon as there are enough funds to purchase a full load of hay to fill a semi-trailer (approx. $4,000), we will send the hay directly to KI. This will be ongoing until Kangaroo Island has recovered and their pastures are producing enough feed to sustain the animals and livestock.
Please give whatever you can. We will happily keep you posted of the delivery of hay to Kangaroo Island families.
