Music has always been a part of my life. I am planning on a lifelong career as a musician and not being able to finish school has become a great hinderance to the progression of my career and my passion. I have never shied away from working hard, paying my dues and making sacrifices to achieve my dreams.

My renewed commitment paid off recently when I was accepted into The Juilliard School in New York City. That's right, one of most prestigious music schools in the world. Little ole me from Soulsville in Memphis, Tennessee was accepted into Julliard. This is a major feat for any musician but for me a dream come true. I can't even express my excitement at the opportunity to be a part of this prestigious legacy. Sadly, my Univerity of Tennessee debt is holding me back. It's a mile high wall keeping me from continuing my musical journey.

 

That leads me to this moment where I ask for your help. This saxophone player with a dedication to his craft wants to follow in the footsteps of other Memphis born greats like Hank Crawford, George Coleman and Kirk Whalum. I want my playing to heard around the world, a breeze that can only be achieved by the power of music to reflect our humanity. Will you make a donation to my fund and invest in my future?
