Help Jamie Pay Rent

Hi hi! My roommate and I are both disabled and just recently ended a month-long stint of homelessness. Due to fatigue and moving costs, I'm struggling to make money to pay for utilities and groceries for this month. I am my roommate's medical aide, but I won't begin getting paychecks for that until next month. For now, I've been surviving on art revenue alone, which has been slow due to lack of free time. We'll be stable in October, but for now I have two maxed out credit cards and an overdrawn checking account.

Asking for money is hard for me. I have a lot of hangups with regards to asking for help in general. I was raised believing that it was some sort of moral failure to ask for money, and I'm working hard to overcome that belief. Few things are harder for me than starting this GoFundMe.

Breakdown of costs:

-I have approx. $2000 in credit card debt that will be increased if I do not make my minimum payments in the next 10 days

-I use the internet for work, and have overdrafted my account by $100 by paying the internet bill

-The rent at this house is $950/month, and my roommate on SSI which for him is $800/month

-I have to spend money on groceries. Doing homecooked meals and saving as much as I can, I spend maybe $50/week on groceries for me, Fin and his cat

-Our house is still in need of some basic things, such as cups, plates, bowls and cooking utensils

I am working tirelessly on several paid jobs, but I have to finish them before I get any more payment. Any amount of money that I make which goes over the cost for rent and utilities will be spent lowering my credit card debt.
