As you may know, one of our local Annapolis treasures, Chris’ Charcoal Pit was destroyed by the remnants of Hurricane Ida. This has been a local, family owned and operated small business in our community for 40+ years. It will take time to rebuild, and, in the meantime, we are setting up a fund to support and provide lost income to their loyal and longtime kitchen staff. When I reached out to their owners, their SOLE concern was their wonderful staff. Even if you can contribute what you’d normally pay for one takeout meal, it will make a difference. Thank you so much!
