Hello! I'm Khris (he/they), and I am a 22 y/o community-based organizer in West Palm Beach, FL! It's a hotbed of political unrest- but it is also the perfect opportunity to provide support to those who need it most.

I love the work that I do, but sadly, it's all unpaid, that's why- and this sounds kinda sad to say- being able to get top surgery feels more like a fantasy than something that could ever be a reality. I don't come from a supportive family, so I cannot use insurance or I am at risk of them cutting me off financially, and as I am a college student, I don't have the means to support myself. I barely have money to eat or put gas in my car, so while life-changing, it felt foolish to spend my time chasing something so expensive. My friends encouraged me to give this another shot, though, so here I am!

This fundraiser is to help me raise as much money as I can to cover keyhole top surgery. I got a quote from Dr. Ghallagher in Miami for 12,500$ back in September of 2023, and I've created a separate savings account for this fundraiser, and I'll be putting whatever I can spare in there as well.
