Khourieh Dina Bahou (Angel)

Khourieh Dina Bahou (Angel) tragically fell ill and despite the best efforts of medical professionals, passed away January 2 2024. The news of her untimely demise shook the entire community, as she was beloved by all who knew her. Khourieh and her husband Abouna Antony Bahou shared a deep bond and supported each other for 32 wonderful years.

Dina was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her husband, Abouna Antony

Bahou, after the devastating loss of their daughter Eliana just 42 days prior, is traumatized by the loss of his beloved wife and all she has gone through with her illness. Although tragic as these events have been to Khourieh’s husband and soulmate Abouna Antony, Abouna has found solace in his unwavering faith and support of his congregation who love him and the Bahou family dearly.

Khourieh Dina’s love, faith and legacy will live on through the thousands of lives she touched and will

continue to touch from her examples of love on this earth both in her travels before San Diego and as

well in her beloved St George Antiochian church and its members. Her random acts of kindness and love

are and will continue to inspire others to follow in her footsteps.

In respect for our "Angel" Dina Bahou, and her husband Abouna Antony Bahou, the community and

our St George members are rallying around their priest, offering their support and reminding him that he is

absolutely not alone in his grief.

throughout our family and their lives.
