Hi everyone!
My name is Soufia Ahmad and I'm the writer, director and co-producer on this project.
'Khoon Ka Ta'aluq' is an exploration of family dynamics within a South Asian (specifically Pakistani) household. It is centred around daughter and father, Abiha and Faisal.
I have been working on 'Khoon Ka Ta'aluq' since I started my course 2 years ago, so I am very excited about it coming to life!
I understand that I'm asking for quite a bit of money so I'll lay out what exactly your generous donations will go towards.
- Paying the actors - I have two main characters and one supporting character and the actors for these roles must be paid at least London's working rate. This is where the majority of our funds will go
- Catering - as a South Asian, I know how important food is! We want to make sure cast and crew are well fed and happy
- Production design - South Asian households are beautifully designed and we want the film to look as authentic as possible
