Hi, I'm Amanda, and I'm helping my friend Khoi Nguyen raise funds for his cancer treatment. Khoi has a cancerous tumor growing on his native right kidney, and he's set to have surgery in January.

As I've come to know him over the last few years, I've realized Khoi is a big guy with a teddy bear heart! I'm setting up this GoFundMe to support him as he gets ready to pay for surgery, various hospital visits, gas to drive to all of his appointments (sometimes 2-3 hours away), food, apartment rent, and other costs that come with doing life during this season!

The procedure is called a nephrectomy, so they plan on removing the whole kidney. The recovery time for this surgery is 6 to 8 weeks, and we'd like to help him for at least the first two months of his recovery.
