This February, my world continued to turn upside down.

My beautiful Siberian Husky, Khloe, who will be turning 10 at the end of May, was suddenly diagnosed with severe pancreatitis, a life-threatening condition that required emergency medical care and intensive treatment. Instead of Jax and I cuddling and playing with her, we were fighting for her life.

Watching her go through so much pain was heartbreaking, not to mention the thought of loosing her (my soul dog) through such a hard time already in my life as a single mother, was unbearable to even think about. Thanks to the incredible veterinary team at 404 emergency hospital who acted quickly, she managed to pull through.

The lifesaving procedures and hospitalization have cost approximately $10,000. While Khloe is expected to make a full recovery, she will need ongoing treatment, monitoring, medication, and a strict care plan to ensure she stays healthy and avoids future flare-ups.

Khloe is more than a dog, she is family. She has been by my side through every chapter of my life, offering unconditional love, comfort, and loyalty. Anyone who has met her knows her sweet spirit, gentle heart, and the way she makes everyone feel special.
