No parent can imagine the thought of their own child being diagnosed with Leukemia. It's hard to think about at all. For this family they had to hear that cancer had returned.

Liam was originally diagnosed in August of 2021 with a very rare genetic form of acute myeloid Leukemia. Liam has been a fighter since the beginning, smiling and being optimistic.

With his family supporting him and a wonderful team of doctors and nurses Liam fought hard through 625 days of Chemo.

And finally the day came when Liam was told he beat cancer and on April 26th 2023 he was able to ring the chemo bell. Life was good and

Liam started back at school, got back into ball hockey, got to play with his friends and even started golfing... finally all seemed back to normal.

But on May 15th after feeling sick, Liam was taken back to the hospital, just 3 weeks short of ringing the chemo bell. It was confirmed that Liam's cancer had returned. this type of news was devastating to Liam and his family.

This time the cancer is very aggressive with a long road ahead. Liam fought so hard the first time, with his family and medical team behind him and we know he can beat this again.
