before we start, here is some over exaggerated nonsense about myself written in the third person:

Colm is an Irish Comedian who has been based in NYC since 2014.
Having started his career in Ireland, Colm’s talents quickly became known on the Irish circuit as he became a finalist in the national broadcast TV show “RTE New Comedy Awards”.
In the same year he won the new act competitions “Show Me The Funny” and “The All-Ireland College And University Inter-varsity" competition. This put him in front of promoters and the comedy industry of Ireland and led to him supporting Kevin Bridges at the Galway Comedy Festival. Read this receiving this glowing review. >>>>

His outstanding performance at the Galway Comedy Festival led to him being booked in every comedy club and comedy festival in Ireland. He also found himself being hand-picked to support Jason Byrne, Steve Hughes and Andrew Maxwell.
On the rise and wanting to better himself as a comic he took the plunge and moved to the stand-up Mecca of the world, New York City. After some long, hard grueling work Colm has started to gain significant recognition in the New York comedy industry. He can now be seen performing at prestigious clubs such as The Stand, New York Comedy Club, Stand-Up New, and LOL Comedy Club amongst many others.

now that all the lies are out of the way lets get down to business.  i'm starting a podcast. 'Cause the world needs another one am i right? it's basically going to me recording an open diary as i try to talk honestly about the shambles that is my life. love, sex, loneliness, drugs, pissing oneself ect all while i pursue my dream of being a full-time comic. i'll also be interviewing some established comics about their journey in the new york comedy scene and what they feel are the traits needed to succeed in the business. on top of that i'll be explaining my journey as i try to take my first solo hour show to the edinburgh fringe festival in august.

ive put the target at $100 as myself and my producer have already spent $600 on equipment. all we need now is a table and cheers. honestly there are none in my  house (if you want to just give me a table and 2 chairs i'll delete this whole thing).
this is primarily aimed at people who can't make this live fundraising event taking place on february 6th but would still like to help out. that's everyone back in ireland!>>>

we might try live stream the gig if someone can explain how that works to me.

any little donation would really mean an incredible amount to me and if you can't afford anything i totally understand. you deserve money for reading this whole bloody thing.  if we raise more than the target it will go back into the podcast, ie better equipment, maybe a website ect. i really don't know but i promise you it will be put towards something useful and it would mean so much to me. the priority right now is having a seat for my guests to rest their hilarious bums on.

thank you so much for even reading all this. i love you all.
