It literally means "This Game is Mine".

And cricket is everyone's game. It doesn't discriminate on what gender you are.

And...as many of you know, cricket has been good to me. It has opened many doors and provided me with experiences one could only dream of.

Leading that charge has been Pakistani cricket. It's a long story that I'll happily share with you over tea.

Anyhow, in Pakistan, many schoolgirls struggle to find ways to particpate in that country's most loved sport.

A lack of funding for basic equipment in schools disadvantages so many girls who just want to get involved like their brothers.

If you are living in Australia, the UK, Canada or the UAE, you see how much opportunity your daughters, sisters, and nieces have in regards to sport.

That's typically not the case in Pakistan.

So I’m off to Karachi to play in a benefit match and try help. All funds raised here will go straight to Khelo Kricket. A Karachi based organisation whose purpose is to increase female participation in cricket.

So that's the end of my pitch (excuse the pun).

Even if all you are able to offer is sharing this post, I will be enormously grateful.

Thanks in advance for helping us change some lives.
