I had an accident,  caused by the neglect of a bus driver. And because suspiciously  there was no CCTV working,  I will get no COMPENSATION!!! And don't forget,  that this was on a BRAND NEW BUS!!!. So WE are all at RISK of getting  NO JUSTICE!!! We were sat in heavy traffic,  and he obviously wasn't paying proper attention. He broke sharply,  and  I went sideways in my seat hitting my face off the handrail,  dropping my shopping.  I got off the seat to pick it up, and as I had done so stood up to reach for same handrail. He pulled away too sharply from the lights, throwing me backwards onto the bus floor. I broke 8 Ribs, And now have a Titanium cage in there place!! And suffered an pneumothorax,  and 1 off the ribs ended 4mms from my heart... I had  2 major operations in 5 days  and an 8 week stay in Hospital.  My Mobility is very much limited, and I  struggle to do the basics, loo, cook, etc.. I am on a cocktail of drugs, and there side effects can have me forget things, like when I have cooking on, and forget it, and have nearly caused a  fire. I miss important appointments,  and I forget how many tablets I have taken. And then take more. I have 2 support  workers,  one on a Thursday  and 1 on a Friday,  this support is invaluable, apart from the social  exclusion I feel, having them, even if it's just for a cuppa is huge... I go to a Brain Injury Group, ( I have regular seizures ) on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,  again a great place.... I haven't seen my family for 19mths, as I haven't been able to afford it as they live in Grimsby... They are in a similar situation financially.  Even although they work ( I'm sure a lot of families would agree, its difficult to find a lump sum for anything), I would love to get back to work, but I have been declared medically unfit. I used to do voluntary work in a local hospice,  but I  am unable to do that either...I have tried nearly every charity shop in Edinburgh. Our beloved Government won't help as it's not life threatening. I have tried to commit suicide on a few occasions, or should I say, a lot off occasions, so I think it is. .Thank you so much for reading my profile....
