Khayla Marie's Road to Recovery

Khayla Outlaw, also known as Marie, is a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, friend and an inspiration to many. Khayla, soon to be 24 years old on January 21st, is also known as an artist, a fashion model, and the face of Curl Drip Natural Hair Care. She is near and dear to many and we ask for prayers and support during this time of recovery. Our hearts are heavy but we know that God's hand is on her life and will comfort us all as she fights to heal, recover, and get back to her normal life!
Khayla was involved in a bad car accident December 6, 2020 and was placed in ICU at Ben Taub Hospital. It is a miracle that she survived, yet her road to recovery is definitely in need of as much prayer and support as she and her family can receive at this time.
As we all know COVID-19 has changed life as we know it forever and hospital restrictions has kept us from being able to physically show our support for Khayla. Fortunately, Ben Taub has allowed only Khayla's mother to be present with her. Khayla's mother, Karen Outlaw has been by her bedside at the hospital since the incident occurred, while immediate family helps to care for her other children which also means that Karen, Khayla's mother has had to take a leave of absence from work to be by Khayla's bedside full time until she recovers.
As of December 12, 2020 we are happy to share that Khayla has been released to continue her aftercare recovery at home with her family. She has endured a lot of physical trauma to her neck, and face, while undergoing a successful surgery to her carotid artery. We are asking for any and all help to pray for, encourage, love on, and assist the Outlaw family during this time of need as Khayla and her family undergo each phase of the post traumatic therapy needed for her well being overall. Our support will definitely comfort them and will take a huge weight off of their shoulders as she fights to regain her strength and way of life.
We are asking for all contribution gifts of any amount to be a blessing to the family. In addition, we would also appreciate you all sharing our fundraiser link with organizations, churches, family and friends, and others through email, social media, text, etc that can be of assistance to us. The more exposure we can get, the faster we can help the family out with not having any additional burdens during this time of need.

- Medical bills & expenses (ER & Long term care, medications, etc)
- Living expenses (Bills) for Khayla & Karen Outlaw's residence (Mother has taken leave from her occupation for duration of Khayla's recovery)
- Post traumatic therapy
- Food & prepared meals for household
