This is Jessica. Beautiful in every imaginable way. She has an incredible spirit, full of strength, grace, and compassion. When you hear, “we need more people in the world like this,” you’d be hearing the words that describe Jess.

However, no life is without its share of challenges, and this page wouldn’t exist if not for a significant one. A little backstory before we get to the present day: Jessica was diagnosed with a rare form of adenocarcinoma cancer – a diagnosis no one wants to hear when you are 44, raising kids, and still dreaming about the future. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone aggressive chemo and internal and external radiation therapy. She has battled lymphedema, which became so problematic it brought on a blood infection, landing her in the ICU for a week. She has faced 15 hours of surgical procedures without the needed sedation due to extremely low blood pressure – yes, she felt it all!

After two years, just when we thought there was little hope, we’ve been given a lifeline. I feel like God answered our prayers by making us aware of an alternative program where the root cause of the disease is treated while simultaneously addressing the deadly symptoms! We contacted the medical facility in Arizona. After speaking with the medical director and acquainting them with Jessica’s history, they have accepted her case, believing we have a high success probability in treating her cancer.

Herein lies our need for this GoFundMe request.

This will be the fight of (and for) her life – and the last thing this wonderful soul and her family should have to concern themselves with while navigating these waters is how bills related to medical care that lie ahead will be dealt with. That is where you – the GoFundMe community – come in.
