Never a dull moment in New Orleans!

I am reaching out to my extended community for funds to support me in navigating this storm. As I am prepping for the potential category 4 Hurricane I have had to spend money I didn’t have to get ready and I anticipate the days to come to also present challenges that need to be addressed with financial support. I decided that I would hunker down here but prepping the van for evacuation, food and water prep, house securing, unexpected health cost are just the beginning. Once the storm passes things like hotel stays, gas, rent, food, loss of income loom over me and frankly I can’t afford the stress of worrying those things being covered so I’m reaching out for help. I am also trying to be a safe haven for the community I built here since my home is on higher ground so any donations will also support my home as a haven.
