Hi, my name is John Hatfield and I am raising funds for my sister-in-law  Khara Owen and her family to help with expenses we will endure during and after her care form COVID. 

About Khara Owen:

Khara is a single mother of two beautiful young girls.  Khara lives in Hobbs NM where she works hard to provide for her girls, they are her life. On 23 August Khara tested positive for COVID, she tried to overcome the virus at home so that she could take care of her girls. After a week of trying to fight it off she did not have the strength to keep up. On 29 August her parents Madonna and Chad Johnson traveled to NM to take care of the girls and get her to the hospital. During her evaluation the doctor found out that she had pneumonia and recommended her to be placed on a ventilator. The hospital in NM did not have any available beds for her so she was transported by LifeFlight to a hospital in Lubbock on 31 Aug. Since she has been in Lubbock her health has not been improving. Her sister Lora Hatfield flew to Lubbock on 6 Aug to be with her and to help care for the girls. The family is currently staying in a hotel near the hospital to be by her side. 

All funds raised will be going to help provide for Khara girls and for all bills occurred during this time. All funds remaining will be put in an account for her girls.
