Greetings!!

My name is Khanyisile, which means to “bring light” in my native language, but I go by Khanyi! I recently graduated with a BA in Political Science from UCR. After graduating, I decided to take a gap year to prepare for the next phase of my life.

While I was planning out my next steps, I realized that this year of transition was the perfect time to dedicate time to seek God's plan for my life and figure out my identity in Him. So, in hopes of achieving those desires, I applied for the Circuit Rider Experience (CRX), which is a 5-month discipleship training program. The Circuit Riders is a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) organization that empowers people to save the lost, revive the saved, and glorify the name of Jesus.

The discipleship program is broken into two segments; the first 2.5 months are spent in Huntington Beach, where youth are trained and equipped on how to evangelize, lead worship and prayer, and develop our unique God-given gifts. The last 8 weeks of the program, we are sent to do outreach in different countries across the world.

After I received acceptance into this program, I became so excited for the opportunity to be in a community with like-minded believers and also the opportunity to evangelize to my generation.

Today, I am asking that you will join me both prayerfully and financially in preparation for CRX. I will need to raise a total of $8,900 to participate in this program. $4,150 is the cost of tuition and housing, and the remaining $4,750 will cover the outreach fees. Anything I receive in addition will be used for food and transportation fees throughout the 5 months. Each gift is a blessing, and I appreciate your generosity and willingness to partner with me on my walk with Christ.

Ultimately, I wish to “bring light” to those in my generation and spread the message of Jesus just as my name suggests in my native language.
