The current monsoon rains took many lives and damaged thousands of homes across Karachi.
Khana Ghar owner Parveen Saeed is currently working to provide food supplies to the rain affected families in Surjani town and surrounding areas of Karachi. Khana Ghar is also helping families repair homes damaged by the rain and flood.
Khana Ghar desperately needs our help to meet the high demand of food and supplies required to assist the families in need.
The funds will be sent to KhanaGhar through OneUmmah foundation (https://www.theoneummah.org/), a public non-profit organization 501 (c)(3) already working with KhanaGhar for rain/flood relief efforts.
Khana Ghar has been serving food to underprivileged people since 2002. There are two Khana ghar food outlets and three pick up points in Karachi that are serving food to local people at a minimal cost.
