My name is Tasneem, and I am the baby sister of Khalid Penn, and I am arranging his final affairs on behalf of my father Sharif, our brothers and older sister, and the love of his life.

My big brother, our gentle giant, returned to the One Who created him, on Friday February 7th. He was surrounded by family and loved ones and passed away peacefully after a long struggle in ICU for nearly 3 weeks.

We greatly appreciate the love of his life, Aloria Bush, for how she took care of him in every aspect, never leaving his side through his time in the hospital. I thank you. We thank you…and we all know that our mother is smiling and pleased with him by her side InshaAllah.

The burial will take place this Saturday, and the monies needed to bury him need to be delivered by Friday. This is where we ask for everyone to direct their love and support towards this need to fulfill our final act of care for someone who took care of all of us in some way.

$7200 will go directly to the funeral home, and the additional funds asked for will be used to facilitate logistics for the immediate family for ease on the difficult day of his funeral, and to organize the repast.
