Khalid Kidney Transplant

Hi guys, I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my uncle Khalid. Khalid has been living with Kidney problems since he was 8 years old, beginning with Kidney Stones in each Kidney. He has went through several surgeries since. This resulted in the removal of one of his Kidneys in his early 20's, followed by the removal of part of his second Kidney which he then lived with for several years. In his early 40's his Kidney failed and he was placed on dialysis while waiting for a donor. Given that my uncle is currently living in Iraq where the country has been going though, and continuing to go through corruption, war and now the Covid Pandemic, finding a donor is not easy. With the help of friends and family who donated a lot of time, effort and money, Khalid was able to find a donor. His body was able to adjust to the new Kidney, and all seemed well, however the city in which Khalid resides has been under ISIS captivation for the last 4 years, which restrict public movement, healthcare, education etc. The health care system has been deteriorating since, and given that the public is consistently monitored, it was impossible for Khalid to attend any check ups over the past 4 years, get any medication or be monitored or tested. There is a heavy lack of jobs, education, public safety and now with the Covid Pandemic he is placed even more at risk given the countries response (or lack of) to the crisis. Over the past few months, his Kidney has been showing signs of disfunction and he has been placed on dialysis once again while waiting in hopes of a donor. However the price of the organ as well as the procedure is something that he is unable to afford without help. Anything would help. My family and I would be greatly appreciative.
