Khaleyla Quizon’s medical expenses

Hello friends and family,

On 6/22/22 at 9:42am, Khaleyla Abella Quizon was born. She weighed in at 6.5 pounds and 19.5 inches long. However, the excitement, joy, and glimpse of taking their baby home for the first time was yanked immediately from Rammil and Claudia. Happiness turned to worry. Holding their baby for the first time turned to just watching from a distance.

Khaleyla is currently in critical condition in Alta Bates NICU fighting for her life. She was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. Her underdeveloped lungs and small thorax prevents her from getting adequate oxygen to her entire body. She was immediately put on a SiPAP machine for respiratory support. This treatment did not work. Khaleyla was intubated for the ventilator on her second day of being born. Unfortunately, Alta Bates have exhausted their treatment options for Khaleyla. This morning, she was approved to transfer to UCSF to explore other treatment options.

We are asking for your prayers and assistance to help my brother Rammil and Claudia with Khaleyla’s medical expenses. Your contribution will go towards Khaleyla’s hospital stay and medical procedures.
