Khaleesi Needs Surgery: Help Our Baby Heal

Hi everyone,

As most of you know, Nick and I have four dogs, and they are our children as I’m unable to have any, so they are our babies.

It is with a struggle and a heavy heart that Nick and I are reaching out for help to take care of our baby Khaleesi. This past couple of weeks, she began limping, and I thought maybe she had just overextended her leg. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We took Khaleesi to the vet today, and it turns out she tore both of her CCLs (equivalent to ACL and PCL in humans). This is completely torn in her right leg and almost torn in her left leg. She will need surgery in both of her legs.

This will cost us $7,000 to get both surgeries done. As some of you know, Khaleesi struggles with severe allergies that cost Nick and me upwards of $400 a month to maintain for her. So this is where Nick and I are asking for help from our family and friends who love our animals just as much as we do. Any little bit helps, and anyone who knows Nick and me knows we usually aren’t ones to ask for it. We appreciate any help anyone can give to get our baby better!
