Hello everyone!

I am starting this GoFundMe to seek your support and generosity to help me fund my housing and moving costs as I am transitioning to becoming a Full-Time Graduate Student at Boston University’s School of Social Work this Fall. While I have applied for a number of very limited scholarships the school has to offer to aid in the costs of tuition, I anticipate the costs of living and other unforeseeable expenses to remain burdensome.

As many may know, I’ve been extremely passionate about becoming a Social Worker focusing primarily on children, youth, and families in black communities. After numerous internships and volunteer experiences, I’ve learned that in order for me to make a bigger impact, obtaining a degree in higher education would give me the opportunity to do so effectively.

I am hoping to raise $12,000 to help cover the costs of living off-campus in Boston's graduate housing community, as well as educational expenses including books, a meal plan, etc. I genuinely appreciate all your support as your contribution will make a significant impact on my future plans.
