Khadra Muhumed Omar Wabery Water Well
Donation protected
Asc brothers and sisters, my names Abshir Adan and on the 14h of July 2023 my beautiful mother passed away suddenly by the grace of allah and me and my siblings have been trying our best to cope and thought of an idea to help her as much as we can in the grave and here it is:
In Islam, providing clean water to those in need is considered a noble and charitable act and it’s said that 3 things are left on this earth when someone passes away (a) a righteous pious child that makes Dua for you (b)on going charity and (c) leaving behind beneficial knowledge which is it what I’ll be fundraising for. Muslims are encouraged to engage in philanthropy and contribute to initiatives that improve the well-being of their communities. Therefore, organizing a water well fundraiser in Islam would be seen as a virtuous endeavor.
In many parts of the world, access to clean water is a significant challenge, leading to numerous health issues and hardships for communities. Islamic teachings stress the importance of helping those in need and relieving their suffering. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The best form of charity is giving someone water to drink" (Sunan Ibn Majah).
Muslims are encouraged to be generous and support initiatives that provide sustainable solutions to water scarcity. This can include funding the construction of water wells in areas where clean water is scarce or supporting organizations and projects that aim to improve water infrastructure and sanitation.
