Rodney Bigham Recovery Fund

I am Kelvin Hampton, a childhood friend of Rodney Bigham. For those of you who are not aware, Rodney was recently involved in a terrible accident, while driving his 18-wheeler. His truck caught on fire, which led to it flipping over. Rodney suffered significant injuries, including a lacerated liver, concussion and a severed ear, which was, thankfully, successfully reattached. He has also experienced lingering posttraumatic stress disorder and often awakes in the middle of the night reliving the accident.



The accident completely destroyed Rodney's truck, which was the source of his livelihood.



Please join me in donating funds to help Rodney during his recovery. The funds will be used to assist with medical bills and his personal bills until he is able to return back to work. Rodney is a person who donates his time and efforts to anyone that is in need & now he is in need of our help. For years he has been committed to variety of organizations: like Commit for Life blood donor & Crusaders for colon cancer and breast cancer; just to name a few.



Even through this tragedy, Rodney has been focused on showing gratitude to the four Coast Guardsmen who saved his life, risking their own safety by pulling him out of the burning 18-wheeler.
