On August 17th,  April Dove suffered a ruptured Brain Aneurysm and will be in ICU in Myrtle Beach, SC for several more weeks before she is able to be moved to another unit or rehab.
 
That could be a long way off, and her husband, David, is by her side from 5:30 am to late in the evening.  He is not able to work as it is imperative for him to be with her which has already made a huge difference in her neurological responses. 

In one week, April has opened her eyes, she has made cognitive decisions to move her left arm and she squeezes Dave's hand. She "is" in there and the Dr.s and Surgeons are encouraged with what they have seen along with April's strong drive to live.
 
We are all gathering together to help Dave and April during this very emotional  and stressful time.   All of April's friends have been so supportive and so generous with prayers and donations and Dave is so appreciative as you know from his daily face book updates.
 
We also know April is a great cook, and Dave has either not eaten, or burns the food he tries to cook !!  So please consider sending him a restaurant gift card such as to KFC,  Applebee's , or any other chain restaurant.  He is not picky.  They can even be bought on line.
