My mother Trudy was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that has spread to her face and brain. Those who know her around the Temiskaming Shores community know that Trudy is an incredibly loving and supportive mother, sister, daughter, and friend. So far, the doctors have conducted CT scans, full body MRI’s and many other tests to understand the cancer’s spread. She has a road of surgeries, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and more ahead, but she is always optimistic about the future.
In the coming months, we will be incurring a lot of additional costs such as medical bills for treatment and largely increased travel. What we are worried about is balancing these additional costs with our regular expenses.
We have set a goal of X to help us with these expenses, but it will likely grow as treatment continues. But we will make sure to keep everyone updated as her battle continues. If you can, we ask that you please donate. Even if it’s small, every dollar will matter and be deeply appreciated.
