Join Saint Nancy's battle

The pretty lady on the right is my mother Nancy. She is also known by many as Saint Nancy. It's a pretty high honor to be deemed a Saint by others, but she was given this honor years ago because to many she is a Saint. By definition a Saint is someone who is acknowledged as holy or virtuous. A Saint is someone who follows Jesus and lives according to his teachings. My mother Nancy is all of these things. She has always given of herself unconditionally. She always opened her home and heart to others often taking them under her wing and into her home while guiding them out of their dark place. She never turned her back on anyone in need whether human or animal. She was always there to help. Many of us know from personal experience that life is not fair. I mean if it was would a Saint like Nancy have been stricken with cancer. And not just any Cancer. This one in a million lady had to get a one in a million cancer (adrenal cortical carcinoma) with very limited research and very limited treatment options. She is now battling this demon for the 4th time in 3 years. She has gone through 2 surgeries, done what chemotherapy was available and is now seeking alternative therapies to help kill this demon that lives within her. She has by no means given up
Hope but the next treatment she is seeking is called dendritic cell therapy. This therapy uses her bodies own blood and dendritic cells to ramp up the immune system and help to kill the cancer. The therapy which is one of several she is seeking is $7000. It is not of our families nature to seek any kind of help and as I set this go fund me campaign up I am hesitant to do so. However, I believe that this amazing women's plight is reason to humble myself, swallow my families pride and begin this life saving campaign for my amazing mother. She and our family have been blessed all our lives by amazing people who have supported and surrounded us with unconditional love. I know we all want Nancy to remain in our lives because she is a blessing to others as well. So any financial support to ease the stress and the burden of these alternative therapies is appreciated beyond words. And for any of those reading this who have cancer and have been told their is nothing further that can be done. Never ever give up hope because their is always hope if you have FAITH and believe. Believe in the power of nature, power of God and the power of amazing researchers who know there is Cure for cancer beyond chemotherapy, surgery and radiation.
