Kippax Greenfield - 7 miles - 7 hours

Here at Kippax Greenfield, we have our hearts set on the most incredible Early Years outdoor space, full of engaging and meaningful play for all of our children. We are dreaming of a space that allows children to be energetic, adventurous and messy; of a space that inspires children to dream, invent and imagine; of a space that encourages them to talk, share and make friends.
We have also had our hearts touched, as we know so many of you have, by the story of Rob Burrow, the former Leeds Rhinos player who recently lost his battle with MND. As parents, you will be aware that all of our Greenfielders are divided into four houses, one of which is named after Rob Burrow himself. It is therefore important to us that the children within both this house and the rest of school get the chance to pay their respects to the great man their house is named after and the legacy that he leaves behind.
But in order to achieve both of these goals - to transform our Early Years dreams into reality and to support such an important charity - we need your help!
On Monday 15th July, we will be holding seven different sponsored activities across the course of the day including a sponsored walk. The aim is for Greenfield children and staff to walk around our school field for the whole seven hours of the school day, with every child in every year group in school – from Reception right the way to Year Six – completing at least a mile each.
