Help Bring John Home!

On a 45-minute break from evening HVAC classes, John was stopped by Canton Police and arrested for child support charges. The initial stop was for impeding traffic as he left something behind in the gas station and wanted to back up to retrieve it. A brief moment gone wrong.

Years prior, after a judge saw John on Kevin Hart's Hart of the City comedy show, his monthly child support payments were kicked up to $2,000 a month, more than John was even paid for his appearance on the show. This was the spiraling of FOC payments for John.

John has been given a court date a month from now and hit with a cash bond of $12,788. (see update)

We are asking for the help of family, friends, comrades and community to help John get home so he can complete what he set out to do 5 months ago, get his HVAC license, continue his career, and most importantly, be present for his family and children. If just 100 friends and family graciously donated $127 we can make this big feat happen overnight..

I received an update from the courts today (1/27/25) one of John’s cash bonds that was $10,000 was dismissed, leaving a total of 12,778.00. Thank you to all who have donated so far!
