In support of the Latif family

It is with deep sadness that our esteemed community member Abdul Latif jan has passed away on June 17 in Omaha. He suffered from cancer. He left behind a wife and two little kids. They moved to the US a little over a year ago. We hope to be able to raise some money to help his family and their future ahead without a husband and father. Anything donation we can raise will help them.
Many may not know that Latif Jan recently immigrated to Omaha on the SIV program from Afghanistan. The SIV program grants entry to the US for families that helped American soldiers in combat overseas and have since been threatened by the Taliban . Latif Jan first suffered from kidney problems at which point his wife donated her kidney. Since the day has come to the America he has suffered excruciating pain living with cancer and now he has passed and his wife is left to raise their two young kids.
