Prayers for Matthew

Just over a week ago my nephew Matthew who is 16 years old was in a terrible accident, he is currently in the ICU on life support with a traumatic brain injury. It's heartbreaking to see him hooked up to machines, knowing that his future is uncertain. The doctors are doing everything they can. We're praying for a miracle and hoping that he'll pull through. Matthew is so strong and resilient. He’s hanging on and we're holding onto that hope that he'll wake up and recover but, it is clear it will be a long road to recovery if/when he wakes up.

Matthew is being treated for a traumatic brain injury and he has multiple fractures on his face and skull, a laceration on his head, and a broken wrist. It's important to remember that the medical team is doing everything they can to provide him with the best possible care and support. While the situation is difficult, it's important to remain hopeful and to focus on the positive aspects of Matthew's situation.

In the coming days and weeks, it's important for Matthew's family to stay connected and to support each other through this difficult time.

Sara and Misty have not left Matthew side since he was med flighted there last week, and will likely not be able to return back to work for some time as they will be by Matthew side 100% through his recovery and the hospital stay is likely going to be long.
