Cooper's(Cupid) Third Chance
Donation protected
Cooper formerly known as Cupid has had alot to overcome since he was found in a snowbank in February of 2014 (see Cupids Second Chance on FB). My family adopted Cupid in September of 2014 and have seen an abandoned, malnutritioned pup become quite a very handsome and smart little man. He has enjoyed living in a home where he is loved and pampered as he should be. In just one week, we have encountered a very devastating bacterial infection that struck Cooper/Cupid without any outward signs until it came to the surface splitting his skin open. He was rushed over to the University of Minnesota Veterinary hospital where he was put in ICU as it was thought he had Nicrotizing Faciitis. The cultures will show the exact bacteria mid this next week, but in the mean time, Cooper has had surgery to remove the dead skin and tissue in a couple of areas on his body. He has along road ahead to recover, especially the healing of the open wound. The costs are estimated to be around $10000. I hope that all who has loved Cupid/Cooper over the last year will continue to support him. I made the decision to fight this battle for Cooper as he is only 20 months old and I will see it through, but could use some help. Any surplus funds will be donated to Ruff Start Rescue.
