Deli Needs Your Help!!

Hello everyone, my sister Deli has had a long battle and struggle with her weight and weight loss due to a hormonal imbalance and condition she's had most of her life. She has tried diets and different medications with doctors to see if her weight can go down and its been a struggle for her. Recently, she was hospitalized again and was told that her previous Diagnosis of Idiopathic Intercranial hypertension has returned. She suffers from excruciating headaches/migraines and lack of sleep. My sister is strong, resilient, selfless, nurturing and always thinking of others, especially when they are in need. She always gives over 100 percent even when it is not asked of her. Even with her headaches she still manages to go to work and to help her husband with his dialysis and medical conditions. She puts a brave face and tries to handle everything as best as she can but this time her body has had enough.
Doctors at the hospital told her the only way to ease symptoms and to relieve the pain is to do Bariatric surgery. It will relieve pressure on her spine and not cause spinal or cerebral fluid buildup in her head. This condition is very RARE and also very DANGEROUS. She can loose her hearing, her eyesight or even worse, she can loose her life. She had to have a Lumbar Puncture/Spinal Tap to relieve pressure in the head and to drain liquid from the spine. She still hasn't fully recovered from that. Bariatric Surgery is less evasive than doing other surgeries to help this condition. Because she is young they do not want to put her through that and there can be a lot of complications. The doctors really believe we have to tackle the weight. This is the only remedy for her in order for her to continue working and helping others especially the love of her life and my favorite brother-in-law Russell!
The reason why we are asking for everyone's help is because our insurance does not cover nor approve the surgery. The hospital says we will have to pay for it out of pocket.
Anything you can give, even if it's just a dollar, will help us get closer to our goal and helping my sister get the surgery she needs. As soon as we get enough, she will be doing the surgery. She loves Christmas, so let's give her the best Christmas ever by giving her this wish! Her wish to be healthy and to be able to make everyone around her smile.
Please keep her and her husband in your prayers! We appreciate you all.
