Brian needs our help after leg amputation

Hi, I am Terry Ledesma-Berger a good friend of Brian Hartley from as far back as LaSalle High School. As many of you know by now, Brian is having the first part of a very difficult surgery tomorrow, on December 8th for a below the knee amputation. It's a two part surgery one week apart. He is in for a long road to recovery, pain management, rehab, will be using a wheelchair then eventually fitted for a prosthetic. Many of these expenses are out of pocket not covered by his insurance.

 

Brian is in good spirits and is confident he will be up and around and looking forward to being as independent as possible. Anyone that knows him knows he is the last person to ask for help but the medical expenses alone, keeping up with his living and medical expenses will be virtually impossible. 

 

We thank you for all the love and support you have already shown him with the numerous calls, visits, posts on IG and Facebook. He is so grateful for all of you! We may update the goal amount after he comes out of his 2nd surgery and we have a better idea of what his total needs will be. He will eventually need to get his place ADA compliant and may need a ramp or things updated to fit his needs at home. We would like to thank all of you who have donated, shared his gofundme, sent prayers and love. Please continue by sharing his story. We will continue to update you on Brian's progress!
